 Stomach Yin Vacuity


Pin Yin: wei yin xu
Symptoms:
aftermath of high heat effusion (fever); fatigue; aversion to heat; heat effusion, especially in afternoon; hot palms, soles and head; nightsweats.
thirst but no desire to swallow; prefers cold drinks; decreased appetite.
dark urine ; constipation; vomiting, dry; belching.
Pain: pain; discomfort; of epigastrium; relieved by cold; relieved by pressure or touch; dryness (and cracking); of lips and mouth.
Activity and movement: rapid; weak.
speech: rapid; quiet voice.
Signs:
Tongue Body: red; fissures.
Tongue Coat: absent, often in patches, or very thin, especially central region; white, perhaps yellow.
Pulse: weak-thready; rapid.
Complexion, other: face, especially cheeks, reddish.
Pattern derived from: Interior-Heat-Vacuity (Vacuity of Yin).
