Common name: angelica root
Botanical family: Umbelliferae
Botanical name: 1, Angelica pubescens Maxim.; 2, A. laxiflora Diels.; 3, A. porphyrocaulis; 4, Heracleum hemsleyanum; 5, H. lanatum Michx.; 6, Aralia atropurpurea; 7, A. cordata.

Primary action: Dispel Wind Dampness
Temperature: slightly warm
Taste: acrid, bitter
Entering Channel: Kd, UB

Actions:
   Expels Wind Cold Dampness and relieves pain in the Channels, especially of the lower back and legs, toothaches and headaches.

Dosage: 1-3 qian.
