About Bob Damone
In 1989,
Bob Damone, M.S., L.Ac, graduated from American College's first
Master's degree program. He also studied Chinese medicine and Chinese
language in China and on Taiwan, and has practiced in a variety of clinical
settings including private offices and three TCM colleges in San Diego
and New York. A well-respected didactic and clinical faculty member in
each of the colleges he has served, Bob has played a pivotal role in curriculum
development, faculty development, and departmental leadership; as such,
he has made a significant contribution to TCM education in the United
States. Mr. Damone, a long-term advocate for the importance of learning
medical Chinese language, is also a translator. In addition to being a
member of the translation team for "Ten
Lectures on the Use of Formulas From the Personal Experience of Jiao Shu-De",
Bob also served as editor and writer for the forthcoming Paradigm book
"A Heart Approach to Gynecology; Essentials in Verse," which
is the ob/gyn section of the influential Ming dynasty text "The Golden
Mirror of Orthodox Medicine." In recent years, Mr. Damone has also
appeared at several continuing educationconferences where he continues
to be received as a knowledgeable, engaging, and approachable speaker.
