It seems that whatever deregulation in food and product safety occurs in the US will largely be countered by European regulation more far reaching than anything we have ever had here. Major US companies are already complying as Europe is a larger market than America. American consumers may thus either get regulated products anyway or at least get a choice.

I am a former practitioner of Chinese Medicine. After 20 years in the field of Natural Medicine, I now primarily consider my role as one of critical examination and education. I continue to maintain a website called The Chinese Herb Academy in order to encourage rational thought on matters of medicine and to provide a historical document of this era. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's Degree in Instructional Design and Technology while I work as an Instructional Designer at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia.
